Founded in 1898, The New England Plumbing, Gas & Mechanical Inspectors Association is a voluntary organization comprised of Plumbing, Gas, and Mechanical Inspectors in 6 states: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
The organization is devoted to the development and acceptances of uniform regulations and the overall betterment of the industry. Inspectors enforce these rules and regulations, State Laws, and codes in the interest of public safety.
Informative guest speakers are provided to further educate our members. Also, members are kept up to date on any new code revisions, proposed legislation, and new technologies on the market. In addition, Massachusetts Inspectors are given credit for attending meetings as part of the States mandatory continuing education program.
Association meetings are held in various locations 4 times per year, usually with a seminar included. Nominal cost with lunch included. Dues are $50.00 per year.
